About Dr. Ahn
Therapy, Coaching, Research
Roianne Richardson Ahn, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist
with over 30 years of experience focused on the brain and social development.
Dr. Ahn received her doctorate from the University of Denver and has worked in residential treatment centers, academic institutions, and clinical practices. She also has advanced training in trauma, neurodiversity, sensory processing, children, couples, families, and workplace relationships. In addition to private practice, Dr. Ahn has presented at conferences and workshops, authored articles and chapters related to social functioning, taught at multiple universities, and contributed to research programs at Duke Medical Center Psychology Clinic as well as STAR Institute.
Dr. Ahn is committed to helping others meet their personal and social goals.
Core Beliefs
There are two core principles that guide Dr. Ahn's work:
- FIRST, individuals CAN learn to create deeply satisfying relationships that lead to life success and satisfaction.
- SECOND, the personality "fit" between the client and therapist is absolutely critical to therapy success.
As a result, Dr. Ahn recommends scheduling a free initial phone call before starting therapy to explore whether her approach fits your needs.

Appointments are available for persons in Colorado (in-person or teleheath) and PSYPACT member states (telehealth only).
FEES
Therapies range from $200 to $300 per 60-minute hour, testing and other services range from $350 to $450 per hour.
INSURANCE
Dr. Ahn accepts Colorado Aetna and Select Health only through the online platform Headway at https://care.headway.co/providers/roianne-ahn. All other plans and services are private-pay and must be arranged directly with Dr. Ahn.
PAYMENTS
Payments are due at time of services. Private-pay clients can submit receipts directly to insurance for eligible reimbursements.
